Good Views
If, like me, you love a good thriller and you can do no better than Bodyguard, which unites cops, organized crime, veterans and politicians in 21st century UK. The first (and only) season of this tour de force was in 2018. It’s positively crying out for a sequel, but that seems unlikely now. Catch this one on Netflix; it is well worth your while.
I love award shows. No wonder, then, that I thoroughly enjoyed watching Conan O’Brien being roasted and toasted by other comedians when he won the Kennedy Center Mark Twain Prize for American Humor earlier this year. Whatever you do, don’t miss Sarah Silverman’s bit.
Good Listens
I absolutely loved listening to Season Two of the joint New York Review of Books/Lit Hub podcast A Critic and her Publics. This season was all about editors. I particularly enjoyed interviews with Leo Carey, Ben Calhoun, and
